in the Mideast since the U.S. invasion into Iraq. It's worse. Not better. The fundamentalist Islamists are waging their own war of terror on women. Females are afraid to venture out for fear of reprisal. "Honor" killings are making a comeback. And females are staying at home rather than attend school or work. Without the iron fist of Hussein crushing the fundamentalists, the mullahs are enforcing severe restrictions on women's rights. Laura needs to educate herself. But she might not have time since she's so busy "ending gang violence".
