I used that exact phrase weeks ago talking about the repugs troubles - it describes it perfectly. The train will continue to crumple for the foreseeable future, car by car.
Yes, it brings back Watergate memories. However, I just heard Woodward (or was it Bernstein?... one of those guys) make the excellent point that, unlike Watergate, in this case, the prosecutor had to start JAILING REPORTERS before the media even got interested and started doing their damn jobs.
