3. This is just Williams' way of appealing his case.
More from the article

"Although Charles T. Sanders didn't claim credit for any of the deaths, lawyers for Wayne Williams, the black man convicted in two of the murders and blamed for 22 others between 1979 and 1981, believe the evidence will help their bid for a new trial."

Williams was basically convicted on fiber evidence from most of the clothed victims. He got smart latter on and started dumping the bodies in the river naked so they couldn't get more evidence on him.

People have always claimed Williams didn't do it because they wanted it to be a KKK member (not a community member). (Don't get me wrong, the KKK is a piece of crap with legs, so I don't blame folks for wanting to see more of their minions in jail.)

But the evidence is pretty clear and Williams lied to police and reporters (they got it on tape) about knowing the victims. The bottom line is that the murders of these children stopped after Williams was under surveillance and in jail.

Williams is a con artist and convicted himself when he got on the stan. The mostly black jury convicted him after he took the stand against his lawyers advice. The man is a liar and though the GBI looked into the KKK it never forwarded any information on the KKK because it led nowhere.

Williams is just trying to con his way out of his murder conviction.
