But as things are, they are pretty good.

Everyone that I know, or have met, that works at the Mercedes plant has told me that the company treats them well. The Mercedes jobs are some of the most-envied blue-collar positions in the area, and the plant has had a definitely positive economic impact.

Still, I would like to see them unionize. I don't think Daimler-Chrysler would go anywhere -- the investment they have is just too big.
