3. Fool us once, shame on us, Fool us twice...
Edited on Fri Jan-28-05 04:56 AM by Nothing Without Hope
...well, that's another day with the compliant US corporate media.

This story is such a transparent plant to assist the program of the blivet** administration to justify invasionof Iraq, I can't see how ANYONE could believe it. "Defectors" and "dissidents" were quite voluble about Saddam's sinister anti-US intentions, too. Even if this story actually did come from a reallio-trulio Iranian defector, it's clear that such a person would know what to say to get preferential treatment by DOD "intelligence experts." Rummy knows what he wants to hear, and they aim to please.

OT (that means "off-topic")- I just read your amazing story about the Ohio ballots with stickers on them, posted at DU yesterday. Iposted a reply to your post in that thread and I hope you will read it. In this thread I just want to thank you again and tell you to take good care of yourself. I hope your fever is down and that you got some rest. Posting at this time of night suggests that your sleep is still not what it should be. Be well.
