1) Davis stays in office and gains some measure of respect among the CA populace.

2)Cruz Bustamonte takes the governor office and turns the state around and gives the repugs a case of red ass.

3) some repug takes the office and just runs the state into the ground pissing a lot of people off, losing the state for Bush or anybody else that has the political affiliation of republican.

I think Bustamonte has a good plan that he has layed out. It sickens the repugs when they see things like this, but they are the ones that wanted to do the bond measure/ borrowing thing and increase while extending the debt. He wants to improve the state, not run it into the ground like some of the idiots out here.
