53. Most people are too busy to keep informed of what most of us know here.
I've recently shared to a couple of friends what we here post or say, that often refer back to my years of activism and being a news hound which is not always a mentally healthy thing to be.

Between taking care of parents, disabled children and working two or three or four jobs, in addition to their long hours with other civic responsibilities such as teaching, networking and helping others in need, the homeless and neighbors, they are simply overwhelmed.

The more I tell them, the madder they are. They are retired and still having to work three jobs. Little time to think and not much energy. You can't keep up a schedule like that and attend much to political trends and the finer meanings, but they have that gut reaction to their world being destroyed and push a little bit harder.

All those things combined never allowed for being in political life, which some people think means they're stupid. They are not dumb or 'sheeple' as others want to term them. They worked themselves to death to make everything work. They are not the capitalists who wove their webs to draw in the unsuspecting for unbridled profit. They never had the luxury of anything but living. In the end, they have lived their lives well and left a lot to future generations.

As to the people who are in shock, I don't look down on any of them and I wouldn't term them naive and I don't think you would if you saw the depth of what they have achieved. Neither do I think you look down on them, either. And they know full well what is right and what is wrong. Don't underestimate them. They never had time for any leisure time activities, which means they know how to focus their energy when the time comes. I've seen them use that to push against strong, well-funded foes in legislation.

It's said that politics is a sport for the leisure classes. Which is what we have in these psychopathic sycophants with boundless energy who are well-funded. They are the ones with the idle hands making mischief, they are the ones devouring the world.

Thanks for replying. See you around.
