34. Memory
I'm a college student, and I had a summer job last year that started early in the morning. NPR is just about the only thing that comes in clear at my house, so it was my wake up station on my clock radio.

Every weekday for three months, the first thing I would hear in the morning was how many soldiers had been killed in Iraq the previous day. It made me think about what the Vietnam era must have been like.

I'm with Kerry all the way, but I went to a Kucinich rally today and he said something I think we all need to keep in mind. The 9/11 hearings can be used as a political football and a way of piling blame on both parties for the next few months, but there's no question about who lied to get us into Iraq.

Bush is a damned barbarian, and he must be stopped.
