Now, for your information I fully support healthcare reform, I think we should have a national healthcare system and I think we could get one into place that would work if the republicans would just get their heads out of their collective backsides and work with the dems rather than just saying no almost all the time.
DADT? I think it should be thrown out and in a perfect world it would have been long ago however we dont live in such a world, we live in reality and any decision obama makes about that in this world will have repercussions politically that he has to weigh before moving ahead.
As much as many of us here would like to see it thrown out there are nearly if not more who like it in place otherwise it would have been gone long ago, thats a fact I am sure Obama is aware of us well.

Now I wish we lived in a magical land where he could just wave his hand and all would be well and congress and the senate would pass alot of the good stuff Obama wants to get done but we dont, we live in a world where he has to work with 2 parties who dont see eye to eye on certain issues so anything he wants done he has to get congress and the senate to approve, thats how this country was setup.
So lets give the man a chance, in other words Bush had 8 years to mess us up, surely you and others can have the patience to give Obama atleast 4 of them to try to fix some of the problems before dragging out the tar and feathers.
