and derivatives is evaporating faster than a water spot on the sidewalk in the desert. The dirty secret is that most of the money is gone. The dirtiest secret is that it was never really there, it was just used to inflate numbers so that we'd all think we were getting richer.

The whole world is heading into a massive deflationary cycle, something ten times as painful as inflation ever was. Inflationary cycles are inconvenient. Deflationary cycles are often fatal.

I think a lot of people are going to get a tough lesson in finding out what they need versus what they want.
