and have been celebrated for doing so-- Virginia is rich in history from the founding of this country to the present. The civil war could readily been put in context, including tourism promotions to civil war battlegrounds and museums, if that were really the intent. Somehow, promoting tourism does not appear to be the REAL intent. :eyes:
