...watched Helms' editorials on WRAL out of Raleigh because they were completely hilarious, almost as if they were *intended* to be satiric. My brother has stated more than once that it wouldn't have been *nearly* as funny if they'd known he'd end up a Senator, and a powerful one that did serious, long-lasting damage to our country at that.

Thank God he's gone, a shame it didn't happen 86 years earlier.
