Chelsea Clinton is 27 or 28 years old. She's not a child anymore. She's been calling superdelegates for her mother and actively working for her campaign. This makes her fair game for questions from the media.

This whole incident is an opportunistic ploy by Hillary's campaign to "make a mountain out of a molehill" and deflect attention away from Hillary's sinking campaign.
