I don't think her depression is a mark against her, FWIW, but I also think she's on more than antidepressants, or should be. And I don't think it's a "moral judgment" either. But hey, way to bullshit!! What it IS, though, is a demotivator for a potential employer, especially if your prosepective employee demonstrates a publicized, repeated history of outbursts and dramatics that suggest at least some degree of medical noncompliance.

It doesn't really matter what she "means" or "thinks" either--she is the author of that book, and that book is pretty fucking vicious to Walters. Ageist, too.
Ms. Walters is a class act, much like her father. She doesn't let much get to her. That doesn't excuse O'Donnell's rudeness or cruelty towards her, though.
