29. Stop doing business with Countrywide!
If you are in California and have money in their bank, pull it out. If you have stock in Countrywide, sell it. If you have a loan with Countrywide and can afford to, refinance it with someone else. If you are one of the few who can qualify for a loan and are planning to make loan application, don't make it with Countrywide.

If they go under because no one will do business with them, maybe the board of directors of Countrywide will get the message. Along with the board of directors of other corporations that believe greed is a virtue.

The Fed lowered its rates for Mr. Mozilo and the other crooks so they could stay afloat. While continuing to enrich themselves off of us. That is the only reason why they lower the rates. Some of us do benefit when they do. Most of us, really, do not. Only the crooks do.

Mia Farrow was polite about "divestment" in Fidelity and other corporations that do business with China which does business with Sudan which supports the genocide in Darfur. Why be polite? Boycott them. Don't do business with them or with anyone who does.

If you see Countrywide on a list of supporters or sponsors of a concert, don't go and then call and tell the promoter you won't attend concerts sponsored by Countrwide. Same thing with charities.

Money is power. We forget that. It is our money they are enriching themselves off of. So stop giving them the money. And take away their power while reminding them of your own. And reminding yourself as well.
