A bus carrying tourists, many of them passengers from a detoured flight from Arizona, crashed in western Mexico Saturday, killing at least 18 and injuring 13.
Police, a bus company and Red Cross officials have confirmed the report.
The Vallarta Plus bus was carrying 35 passengers to Guadalajara from the resort city of Puerto Vallarta when it ran off a mountain road on Saturday and plunged down a ravine.
Nayarit state police director Fernando Carbajal said at least 18 people have been killed and 13 injured, five gravely.
