10. The Army should be very proud.
After lowering their enlistment standards for the umpteenth time (we now have an Army filled with felons, gang members and other assorted miscreants) and offering ever higher bribes to entice America's youth (who have no other alternative to making an honest living because there are no jobs) into enlisting, they've FINALLY succeeded in realizing their lowered expectations of recruiting goals! :applause: WAY TO GO, ARMY!

I expect this shallow "victory" to be short lived with the following months ebbing back to realistic levels of recruitment shortfalls. After all, this recruitment bonanza follows high-school graduations around the country, and until the Defense Department can devise a way to graduate dead-end kids every month of the year, August will be the one time when they have a realistic opportunity to exceed their quotas. I imagine high-school graduations were a prime hunting ground for for the less than ethical Army recruiters, preying upon the disenfranchised and poor youth of our country. How the hell do these guys sleep at night?

I expect that soon, very soon, they will actually BE an, "Army Of One". :eyes:
