94. Especially not from rich televangelists
pleading for dough and squeezing their eyes shut really really hard

I bout fell over while reading about Kenny-boy's humble origins.

http://apnews.excite.com/article/20060705/D8ILSRNG0.html

Lay was born in Tyrone, Mo. and spent his childhood helping his family make ends meet. His father ran a general store and sold stoves until he became a minister.* Lay delivered newspapers and mowed lawns to pitch in. He attended the University of Missouri, found his calling in economics, and went to work at Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) predecessor Humble Oil & Refining upon graduation.

* emphasis mine

Now, most ministers I know in small churches would not be as financially secure as the local merchants. His dad may have had a true calling and threw that all away. (Remember, Kenny-boy helped out making ends meet). But videos I have seen of Kenny-boy pushing ENRON stocks, even as he was unloading some of his, sure reminded me of some of those televangelists...
