28. Well, Russia had a very big reason for keeping
the U.S. out of Ira. Russia had signed oil contracts with Saddam, just the year before. So did France. Both countries had vital reasons for not wanting the US to march to war. And they opposed it, repeatedly, both at the UN and publicly.

After the US invaded, the oil contracts became null and void. I believe RumsFailed said there would be no monetary compensation for the worthless contracts = tough shit, Iraq is under New Management now.
