Wait a minute now! I thought Quail hunters are supposed to walk (or ride horses) behind their dogs. This is the first time I ever heard of Quail hunting from a car. So here's the picture: Cheney and his millionaire entourage are flying down a dusty Texas farm road in their camouflaged armored Humvees. They are followed by a Secret Service contingent in their own camouflaged Hummers. Bringing up the rear is a camouflaged ambulance, fully staffed with a Doctor,a nurse and 4 EMT's. The ambulance is chocked full of heart shockers other necessities to keep the VP alive in case his overtaxed ticker decides to cause trouble while he is enjoying his blood sport. Cheney has cradled in his arms a finely crafted instrument of torture and death-- a handcrafted, European-made, engraved and inlaid, exotic hardwood stock with etched, blue steel carbon barrels. This is what the VP has waiting in store for the speckled chirping terrorists ahead. He nervously fiddles with the gold triggers and the safety catch. Click, clack, click clack. A Secret Service agent radios ahead to Mary Matlin, who is crouched in the tall grasses about a quarter mile ahead of Cheney's posse. "Code Blue-- Release! Release!" Mary unlatches two little wire boxes and shoos the unsuspecting feathered occupants out into the tall grass to await the ambush. She marks the spot with a big RED flag. The Humvee skids up in a cloud of dust. The killers get out of the vehicle, hearts racing, safeties off... and then the unthinkable...
