She was scheduled, initially, to be at an ANTI SOTU protest.

I think they would have cut to her at any mention of Iraq. And surely they would have cut to her AND the pro military family with Laura when Chimp started in on his speil about honoring the servicemembers and the families...it would have been GREAT TV, and made the speech a bit interesting.

The networks will cowtow, but they won't miss a chance for four-star visuals if they are available. They can easily placate the powerful with disdainful words and commentary, but no way would they have passed up that shot if they saw it going down.
