and in recent days (since the news broke) MORE senators have been told about it - in other words they're supposed to defend bush and say they knew to authorize it when they're not actually finding out until AFTER the news broke.

GEE I THOUGHT CONGRESS WAS ELECTED TO MAKE OUR DECISIONS PUBLICLY AND VOTE ON THEM IN FRONT OF US, not secret little deals with the president about spying on us.

THESE ARE THE FUCKING NAZIS. You don't spy on PEACE groups in your own country, you dont start spying on the people who "elected you", congress cannot over step the law and they cannot make secret decisions. They have to have public Meetings where ALL of congress is informed and the people they represent - the people of the US are informed. Secrecy should be cause for dismissal from their jobs. This is AMERICA.

These people need to be ousted. Everything is wrong with this.

The only way they can succeed is by stopping the Educated - who by the way are the ones going to the peaceful demonstrations and anti-war talks.

This is why educations has literally been anorexically funded since bush got in office.

At what point to we put our foot down. It can get "too late" very quickly.

They've way overstepped everything our constitution stands for, repeatedly and this last abberation is the tip of an ice berg of what they are doing.

What does this tell you about how they feel about our rights? They need to be ousted.
