2. So these things keep happening, we read about them, and nothing changes.
We are left to believe that as long as this right-wing sociopath continues to squat in the White House, and the Congress is dominated by right-wing imbeciles we're just lucky it isn't even worse than it is.

Occassionally a stray idiot will remind us we're so lucky to live in a country with free speech, that people in other countries are not allowed to speak out about anything.

It's time to remind them of all the examples we've seen like this since Bush stole the pResidency. This is a clear symptom something has gone really bad.

We can do better than this.

By the way. How many people are aware that a lot of college teachers dispaired of the power placed in their hands during the VietNam war, knowing that when students flunked out, they'd lose their deferments and they would be automatically eligible for the draft? Some really didn't want that dreadful responsibility.

Now we've got sadistic "patriots" who are only too happy to turn others in. Is this progress?
