Other things being equal, SPEED is a key variable similar to size in the sense that these things are given and not taught. Air Force, as other service academies, have traditionally executed very well, been highly disciplined, and, when successful, have used offensive and defensive schemes to maximize their limited talent. For instance, Air Force was just about the last team to continue to play the wishbone given its inability to compete with DI teams any other way.

I am in no way racist; however, I would venture to bet that the teams Air Force beat might have been faster, but weaker in other areas (i.e., discipline, execution, general talent). By the way, the three teams you mentioned as having lost to Air Force all suck terribly....
