245. Actually, I think the fact that the Republicans attempted to change
the rule so that indicted members do not have to step down makes it look as though they knew what might come down the pike.

And of course many DID know.

It puts me in mind of other ways the Repub's attempt to inoculate themselves against justice. Like, make the country so sick and weary of even the thought of another impeachment when you know you will be in the White House next cycle via stolen elections.

When you know full well you will be doing things that would make the nation's founder's turn in their graves.
