... or Republic, whatever you want to call it. When the wealthy and powerful take control of our media AND our voting systems then they are essentially taking control of our system of government. First you'll see the media propping up candidates who otherwise would have no reason to gain in popularity. Then people will become accustomed to the fact that this candidate is simply popular, for whatever reasons. Then, when the votes are fixed, few will raise an eyebrow. Wake up people!!
