I don't have a link, but they are somewhere on one of the many threads here and those numbers are: 3,700 national guard in LA, 4,000 in Iraq. They have a majority of there troops in Iraq and most of their equipment there too.

I have also heard that when Andrew hit FL in '92 there were 30,000 Natl Guard that were brought in, and brought in early as in pre-deployment.

These are only if I am remembering correctly, I am sure that I am in the ballpark though.
