If Bush, Rove, and Cheney had half of the cunning usually attributed to them, they would have seen to it that a basket of food and bottles of ice water were sent out to Cindy, along with a note of regret that the Emperor was unable to meet with her just now. What great PR that would have been for them.

But no, they let her get heat stroke (see below). What exactly will it take for the rest of the American people to realize that this is really who they are?

Hi All,

Cindy Sheehan is being carefully attended by Hadi Jawad and Johnny Wolf at Crawford Peace House (www.crawfordpeacehouse.org). They will be hosting her, sustaining her and getting her medical and legal help when needed. The peace house needs donations to do this...please spread the word to donate via their website or the address there.

The last information I have had she is well but offline (a hardship for Cindy) and the effort continues. She recovered from heat stroke aggravated by law enforcement's refusal to allow us to return to her with more water and shade. I await further word from Hadi or Cindy.
