He attempted to intervene by sending the state police to size custody of Terri, but the state police tipped off the local police and the local police tipped off Michael Schiavo husband, and the judge had to issue an extra special restraining order. It wouldn't help Jeb's presidential aspirations if someone took it upon himself to "look into" that little drama. He's already got one court order violation on his record, and his approval ratings don't need to go any lower.
