I lived in a Communist country, Hungary, and during the height of terror and repression in the early 50's, the only radio you were allowed to listen to was a one-channel state propaganda outlet. If you listened to short-wave western news it was punishable by jail time, job-loss, being branded as elitist, intellectual scum and on their list of undesirable citizens. Subject to any amount of harassment and loss of any job beyond manual labour. I think America should start reading books about the joys of Fascism and Communism because at the rate your country is going you will experience this yourselves fairly soon.
