When the article also lists the larger declines in optimism among Northeasterners, rural Americans and women 45 and over? Flamebait? Let's see how many nasty remarks we can get about Southerners?
I think it's obvious that the higher the death toll and the more soldiers come back and tell about the horrors there the numbers who support the war everywhere will drop. Especially after a bloody day like today. Too bad all those Bush supporters in all 50 states didn't take the time to see how badly the war was going before they voted for him.
You know there are probably more pockets of deep red in Colorado where Bush got 70% plus votes than Alabama, so why don't you back off?
