47. I think the opulence of this inauguration is inappropriate considering
the war, the loss of lives, homes and hope of both the US and Iraqis.

The GOP can only lose respect in the long run for their "Party Down Dudes" attitude when so many are suffering.

I am quick to point out to everyone that the 40 million being spent on the inauguration would put a lot of men and women through rehab, provide medical and educational opportunities, and help them restart their lives instead lying in a bed in a ward waiting. Or maybe we could protect our men and women by making sure they have the equipment they need.

The Iraqis are suffering also. They have lost everything, family, homes, water, electricity, sanitation, the list is so long.

And yet the GOP, in time of war, is going to "Party Down." Are they really that proud of the carnage?
