An attack inside the US would change public opinion regarding this war. Furthermore, any new attack would have to have an impact > or = to the that of 9/11 attack; otherwise, it would make the Islamists look inept and weak.
So, I don't think we will see the type of dastardly acts that Israel has had to endure for so long.
And I hope that I am right.
