because I deserve it. But in my defense I only bought for three people and it was all practical stuff -- clothes, books, and DVDs. OK the DVDs can be considered luxury items but the people I bought them for would have bought them anyway. I ordered them online from a place in Canada so that must count for something. ;)

I would have done the total boycott but I didn't want to make my Mom suffer because of *. I would have bought the clothes for her anyway as she has no way to get out shopping so the only stuff she gets is what my sister and I send her in the mail. She needed everything I gave her. Trust me. And she absolutely hates * so I hope you would give her bonus points for that. ;)

Aside from that, I'm a marketer's worst nightmare. I pay my bills and buy food and that's it. If I don't absolutely need it I don't buy it. I never eat out and don't go to movies or anything like that. I may go to a bar once or twice a year to get together with friends but that's it. I hate the marketers and refuse to play their game. Screw 'em. They get nothing from me.
