Making "Al Gore" jokes and such.
Funny.... with most of the country sweltering in 100 degree temperatures, you don't hear anything from them right now.
Where are all the talk radio idiots with their silly global warming jokes?

1. One can only hope they are at least thinking about it. |
|
Maybe they are getting that little prickling up their spine as they realize they were wrong - and the stakes were as high as they could be.

4. I have co-workers who claim the cool weather in California is a mini ice age |
|
When I remind them that dozens of States are under heat advisory they dismiss it as "well it's Summer which is why it's hot". They don't even bat an eye at their own lack of logic. Nothing exists outside of their physical experience of cooler weather here, and their denial of global warming at any cost. Unseasonably cooler weather means ice-age. The complete opposite of global warming. Period.

8. Half the country is below average in temps this summer; half is above average. |
|
The U.S. temperatures have almost no weight in the GLOBAL warming trend. Have to rely on the science and GLOBAL averages.

6. Is this about what's going on in Patagonia? |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-21-11 07:40 AM by ck4829
Global warming deniers need to realize it's the middle of winter there right now and also that while Patagonia is beautiful, it is one of the most inhospitable places on Earth. It is mountainous and it regularly has wacky weather.

7. I was talking to a friend this morning about this very thing. We are set |
|
to break records for heat this year that have stood since the Dust Bowl days. I haven't heard any of the deniers around here asking "Where's your global warming now?" like they do in winter weather.
