Don't most of the polls show that the majority want millionaires and billionaires to pay more in taxes?
Instead, they would cut Social Security and Medicare which is a very unpopular idea with the voters?
Isn't this a winning issue for Democrats?
Why do they hesitate to use it?

1. When 80% of the public want something, and congress |
|
can't pass a bill to get it, that just proves we don't live in a democracy. We're getting bullshit from both sides.

Millionaires, yes your congress critters increase their own taxes? Or even support legislation that favors the little guy more than themselves?

4. Ask 10 people -- 11 of them will say "Both sides do it". |
|
And a lot of otherwise helpful folks -- I'm looking at you, Jon Stewart -- push this tack.
