3. Yes, but I wonder what the audience for that is
I find him too gentle; the Republicans are full of shit. Could we remind people of their record? The fact they they INVENTED huge deficits. That they are beholden to a hack who wants to drown government in a bathtub?

People just aren't very good at figuring this out on their own.

4. I really don't think Obama could say or do anything ....
..... that would please them outside of gutting medicare and letting their Wall Street buddies play with
the trillions that is set aside for social security. The truth is they really don't care about the debt.

For years a vote to raise the debt ceiling has always been "pro forma" but the republicans
have now made it something to try to hurt the President with along w/ trying to kill off
social programs some of which date back to FDR.

5. I don't think agreeing to cuts to medicare or social security is grown up - I think it's fucked up
and we're being told again, by a Democratic president, that instead of the rich, who have never done better - paying their fair share - instead we are going to "balance the budget" on the backs of the elderly and the needy? fuck that. sorry you are so easily influenced by this guy.

7. I love how he dressed down Chuck Todd
he basically called his question silly and trivial. You could see that Chucky grasped his meaning and started getting heated and interrupting Obama, at which point Obama just said, "Chuck?" And Chucky realized he was out of line and shut his fucking yap. Beautiful.
