Using The Christine O'Donnell Standard, How Many Schools Have You Attended?
O'Donnell's LinkedIn bio page lists "University of Oxford" as one of the schools she attended, claiming she studied "Post Modernism in the New Millennium." But it turns out that was just a course conducted by an institution known as the Phoenix Institute, which merely rented space at Oxford.

According to this standard, I've attended:

Georgetown University
American University
Cal
Stanford
USC
UCLA
NYU
Got a cup of coffee on Columbia University's campus once, so onto the resume it goes!
Santa Clara University
George Washington University
University of Maryland

3. I think watching a school's football team play a game is sufficient
You're "attending" the game.

6. Well, According to the Standard, If You Use The Facilities of a School
then you attended that school, no matter if the school was just renting out its facilities.

5. oh goodness too many to count
since I have been going to college football games since I can remember. I also took some courses from different schools in the Air Force (although those actually count as legit). Does it also count if I saw a promo during a college football game highlighting the schools being broadcasted. If that counts then goodness we all attended so many colleges to be impressive would be impossible.

12. In addition to my alma mater, I've 'attended' several other state-owned universitites in PA,
Edited on Wed Sep-29-10 11:18 AM by Bunny
along with Pitt and Penn State, Temple University, the University of North Carolina, and there are probably a few more that I can't think of right now. I'm considering taking a drive up to Boston this weekend to stroll around Harvard Yard so I can claim that I 'attended' Harvard. Perhaps I should stop at New Haven on the way back and claim Yale, too. And if I'm going to do that, it wouldn't be real hard to swing by New Jersey, 'cause Princeton would look pretty good on my resume.

ETA: Forgot about Rice University. (I went to a bar on campus many years ago. I actually learned something too, as I watched this weirdo jack off while sitting at a table by himself. Maybe I should leave that part off my resume?)

I actually did research there when I was at another school in New Haven...wow, maybe I can claim Yale on my resume (which I don't have because I'm retired).

33. Ooh, I haven't been there since I lived in New Haven in the mid-70s.
And grinders-- I didn't know what the hell a grinder was until I learned that it was the same sandwich I called a sub. Back to the topic at hand, I can include Yale, University of New Haven and Quinnipiac U. (then college) on my resume.

17. I write donation checks to my husband's schools as well
as my own - so I'm claiming them all. Along with every football game I've gone to, and also the universities I was accepted at but never matriculated (including my husband's too of course). They accepted us, so on the resumes they go!
