The Washington Fair Trade Coalition is seeking participants in the national Trade Stories Project. The project aims to collect stories from real people who have been hurt by “free trade” and related policies. We want to set up interviews with WashTech members and allies who are willing to share their personal experiences with how “free” trade policies have had a negative impact on your careers – this may have come in the form of layoffs, having to work as a contractor rather than FTE, and related issues like job insecurity, wage stagnation, and decreased benefits.
Please help us show our elected officials and the public the human faces associated with harmful “free trade” policies! If you are willing to share your experiences, or if you have questions, please get in touch with Stephanie Celt, director of the Washington Fair Trade Coalition.
Also see the national Trade Stories Project website: www.tradestories.org
Thank you to anyone who wants to share their story and fight for fair trade!
