The Republicans were also briefed on the torture
tactics same as leading Dems were. How come no one is asking them why they didn't blow the whistle on it? There was a "gang of eight" and also a "gang of four". Neither method of informing congress of operations is okayed by statute. Why is it only the Dems taking flak for the whole thing when it was conceived and carried out by the Republicans? It's way past time for push-back on this score.

1. Briefed, hell. They actively sanctioned it
Pelosi may have known, but the GOP wrote the book.

3. It's an effort by the Reps to make the Dems look even guiltier than they do.
And many, many people are falling for it.

4. Torture is torture....the GOP knew they were in swift water...they ain't about to tell anyone whats
really going on....they did the minimum....as Pelosi describes...that makes total sense...

5. Their argument = Pelosi is bad, Torture is good
Allegedly they believe that Torture is OK.

But it is bad that Pelosi allegedly knew about it.

So Pelosi is bad, but torture is good.

It doesn't make any sense.

6. The pro-death republicons approved and endorsed torture.
Their actions were codified and recorded on paper and on camera.
