3. not every person 'involved' in the financial collapse did anything illegal to cause it.
many of them did nothing 'wrong', and played fully within the albeit poorly thought-out(or not) sets of rules that that had been put into place by the corrupt greedheads in dc.

4. That is actually two separate questions.
What I want is A and E.
But being practical I know that is not going to happen in my lifetime.
so I will settle for what ever we can get from this with the understanding that this must not ever be allowed to go this far again.

5. Emphasis on choice "E".
Criminal charges would be great, too.

7. I essentially want 4 things:
I want the people who are hurting, who are jobless, who are homeless, who are in dire straits in one or more of these kinds of areas -- I want them to be addressed and thereby honored and their needs met. I want those who are falling to be helped up and bolstered. This is a hope for the immediate response, the right-now, we-need-help response. I don't want to hear a bunch of bullshit about FEMA trailers; I want people who need and deserve help to receive it.

Next I want those responsible for putting people in harm's way to be investigated, and where found to be complicit in others' loss and abandonment, properly adjudicated.

Then I want sharp-toothed legislation to do everything possible to ensure that the same set of circumstances is not repeated. No sundown clause, but a permanent, long-standing, generational-defining bill. I'd like former Senator Bill Bradley and current Senator Barbara Boxer to write it.

Last I want an expansive new stimulus bill to provide work for those willing to work, which is almost everyone. It would cost a lot more. Let it.

11. There's a problem to prosecution
Some of what was done was legal, albeit wrong. The laws, or lack thereof are a bigger problem than the ones on the books that were broken. I'm not against prosecution, far from it, just don't stop there.
