1. Oh no. The Republicans will threaten a filibuster against her.
We have to find someone acceptable to the Republicans.

Someone slightly to the left of Clarence Thomas and the Pope might be approved without a THREATENED filibuster.

2. I hope Obama is as blatantly ideological in his Supreme Court
picks as any republican president would be. Yes, elections have consequences, picking judges is one of those consequences.

4. Yes, we have to be bipartisan
Now, what judge would be acceptable to the teabags and torture party. Oh, I know....

3. Yes, absolutely. An ideal choice.
Still quite young, personable, bright, qualified. Obama has often expressed his admiration for Earl Warren who of course was also a governor.

The court needs someone with political skills who is liberal and a consensus builder.

I actually think she will be the choice.

7. Our Gov.
Gov. Granholm would be a great choice. She is a wonderful human being who gets it.

8. Her governship proves she has little pull in Washington. So I think this is unlikely. nt
