alos learned the hard way that if a person makes more than x number of claims the insurance company will cancel the policy and then you will end up paying double rates elsewhere for 5 years
This happened to my mom when she had her fence repaired for the third time.
Her third/final claim was for a mere $500-her Farmer's policy was then cancelled then her new policy elsewhere cost an additional $500 a year
this was back in 1996
I do know that you are allowed to choose the company that will fix it.
If I were you I would get a few estimates so you have an idea what it will cost.
