Ed Schultz and the homeless marine in Colorado who called his show
Way to go Ed .... way to step up and help a stranger ..... and for
the "Marine Mom" from Florida way to go too.

Nothing left v right about that story but about Americans stepping up to help.

I hope "Keith" gets the help he needs and a year from now I hear about Keith
working and in his own place.

4. In the wake of BillO's cackling about John Edwards' charge regarding homeless vets...
...Ed Schultz has been getting involved in the issue. On Schultz's show today, a homeless vet named "Keith" called in to talk about O'Reilly. He told his story; He's a former marine and, due to a string of personal maladies, he's now living out of his car with his dog.

Hopefully, someone can post the audio - it was so sad.:(

5. Thanks, Cooley!
:hi: I'm glad Schultz is following up on this! I'm sure Olbermann will also.

3. Bill O'Reilly shot himself in the foot by asserting there are no poor vets sleeping under bridges
He's got himself an albatross on that issue.

6. My husband says it will be much worse than nam
soon. He said all they have been through in the next 10 years there will be many who get homeless, out of work, mentally ill, have problems in marriages and work...its going to be a mess.

I think he is right and its just barely started..
