1. Lemme guess THEN it will be OK to seat them to many DUers
But if Hillary wins it will be evil Rovian triangulation.

2. I still can't decide on Undecided or Kucinich.
Both of them are a big FU to the party higher-ups (MDP higherups are morons to make this happen), since they're telling us to vote for Hillary or to cross lines and vote for Mitt. Ugh. Hubby's voting for Kucinich.

3. Kucinch supports clean elections and impeachment
...a vote for him is a show of support for those worthy causes, as well as a big old flip o' the digit to the DLC assholes.

Two messages for the price of one.

5. "Undecided" is giving a proxy to the people who spent not a single dime campaigning.
... in the state that needed it the most. "Undecided" does NOT stop the votes from going to Clinton, even though she's an alternative vote on the ballot.

When a candidate is, like Kucinich, thrown off the bandwagon by personal attacks (e.g. "woo-woo" and "unelectable") the Pundits and Others are GUARANTEED to later claim that he lost due to the ISSUES and his POSITIONS!

I refuse to add to that chorus. I will vote according to the MESSAGE more than the MESSENGER.

It's the message worth supporting, imho.

18. i wish you could have heard randi's show today
she started talking about this maybe 40 minutes or so into her show

sometimes ben gets her show archived by ten or earlier--you could check...
http://www.whiterosesociety.org/
http://www.whiterosesociety.org/Rhodes.html
he has the link up to randi's show from today--but sometimes it's only partly downloaded if it's early. i'd wait a little longer and then see if you can get it.

she goes into a lot of detail about this election in michigan and kucinich

6. michigan voters "be very afraid"
Edited on Mon Jan-14-08 03:44 PM by orleans
no delegates will be asigned by the result of the win

space for dem candidate write in: DO NOT WRITE ANYTHING IN

because others signed pledge (edwards, obama)

only hillary, gravel and kucinich name is on the ballot

WRITE IN VOTES WILL NOT BE COUNTED

DEM. PARTY is urging people to choose "uncomitted"

the winner will be able to decide who gets the delegates?

SO MICHIGAN CAN VOTE KUCINICH BECAUSE HIS NAME IS ON BALLOT AND HE CAN WIN MICHIGAN (HE WON'T GET DELEGATES, BUT HE'LL STAY IN THE RACE)

from what i understand randi saying

"I'M URGING PEOPLE TO MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT TOMORROW. GIVE DENNIS KUCINICH A WIN"

on edit: this way kucinich can maybe raise some funds and stay in the race--"it's a great opportunity...give him a fighting chance...it will make a world of difference in the democratic race...perhaps you will stop this gender/race war...if edwards was on the ballot i'd recommend you vote for either edwards or kucinich, but if you write edwards name in YOUR VOTE WILL NOT COUNT...but we can make this into something good--all kucinich needs is 15%"

17. A Kucinich vote is the only thing getting me out of the house tomorrow
I'm so pissed that my vote won't count for any delegates I can barely see straight. I wasn't even going to bother but it would at least feel good to give him a boost.

7. I am voting UNCOMMITTED. Edwards, Obama, Richardson, Biden supporters should do the same
imo.

"MY WIFE AND I ARE VOTING UNCOMMITTED. WE WILL WORK WITH THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY TO MAKE SURE THAT UNCOMMITTED DELEGATES GO TO THAT CONVENTION TRULY UNCOMMITTED SO THAT OBAMA CAN COMPETE FOR THEIR VOTE." Congressman Conyers (D)

And obviously Edwards can compete for their vote too.

A recent MI poll had
47% Clinton
28% uncommitted.

If the final results are like that, it certainly sends a message that many do not support Clinton even when she is the only frontrunner on the ballot.

14. If I still lived in Michigan, I do believe I'd cross the aisle on this vote
Romney, I hear, is the one many Dems are going to cross over to vote for to hurt the Republican party.

I'm not sure what my parents are doing yet... they crossed to vote for McCain in 2000 for the same reasons, but I do know they support Hillary for the nomination.

25. This is difficult
I'm mainly an Edwards supporter, although I think Kooch passes the smell test better than anybody. McCain winning tomorrow would not be good.

Nah, I'm voting for Kooch tomorrow. I think it's going to feel REALLY GOOD to vote for him.

29. I'm so out of it. Our local paper said there are ZERO delegates
up for grabs in Michigan, because they moved their primary up. Is that just a load of bat guano?

But if it's true, and there are NO delegates awarded, does it even MATTER who one votes for there?

30. if kucinich can get 15% he will be taken seriously and be able to
raise funds and important issues with other candidates

it will keep this from being a 2 or 3 person horse race

33. Granholm's saying that the nominee will fight to seat us.
That said, they've already stripped us of our hotel rooms, so who knows where we'd even be staying. I think we're screwed.

38. I voted when I dropped off my son.
I voted for Kucinich. I was the 49th Dem, while there were 150 Republican ballots already. It was dead as tombs, the least busy I've ever seen the precinct. Very frustrating. I cried afterwards on the way to the pharmacy. How in the hell am I supposed to convince someone to vote for our nominee when s/he didn't think our votes were important. I've never felt so powerless in my life when it comes to politics.
