Strike on Iran Would Roil Oil Markets, Experts Say - no mention of human loss or suffering
so we're not going to attack Iran because of the oil prices - not because it's morally wrong...not because Iran NEVER attacked the USA
not because of the horrific deaths of Iranians.....

<snip> A U.S. military strike against Iran would have dire consequences in petroleum markets, say a variety of oil industry experts, many of whom think the prospect of pandemonium in those markets makes U.S. military action unlikely despite escalating economic sanctions imposed by the Bush administration.

11. Oh, sure. That just doesn't go in the business/economy section of the paper.
Human loss and suffering goes in the A section. The effect it has on global markets goes in the business/economy section.

5. None of those "moral" reasons stopped them in Iraq
the war the oil was supposed to pay for!
Put oil men in the white house and this is what you get.

7. Who cares about human suffering? (sarcasm)
I mean, they're just brown people,
they're not Christians,
they're not Americans,
they're way "over there" (wherever that is),
who cares what other countries and eggheaded intellectuals think anyway,
the only folks that'll miss 'em are bleeding heart homosexual commie abortion-lovin' tax-and-spend democratic elistist scumbags,
and, oh look, did you hear that Britany regained custody of her kids?!

9. it is all about the oil, Cheney is a basket case cause he thinks
oil supplies are dwindling, and apparently what Greg Palast said in this book Armed Madhouse there are untapped oil fields in Iraq still. Cheney I hate him.
