27. BBCA last week had a show called "A Real Doll" *WARNING-GROSS*

It detailed the lives and relationships (or lack thereof) of men who had struck out with women and invested in Real Dolls-- http://www.realdoll.com/ , not a site for the squeamish--plus the people who make them. They have been improved somewhat since Maher sat on his old ABC program, holding hands with it the whole time, very courtly. You can order face, race, skin tone, measurements and everything. They weigh in the neighborhood of 100 pounds.

The BBC film showed these guys taking the dolls and posing them to watch adoringly while they did sports, being deprived when vigorous use made the doll's limbs become a bit loose, dressing and bathing them, hanging them on a hook on the wall when playtime was done. One scene showed "feminine hygiene" being done with a bottle brush, something that made me cringe but it must be a necessary maintenance chore.

Apparently there is a whole subculture of these guys who have found real women less than satisfying and who base their lives on living with silent and passive sex outlets.

So folks, it's already happening. I found myself grateful that those guys have taken themselves off the market.
