this afternoon... ah, what a cast and how timely. Made in 1962.
John Frankenheimer's political thriller about a Korean War vet (Laurence Harvey) who's brainwashed to kill. Marco: Frank Sinatra. Raymond's Mother: Angela Lansbury. Iselin: James Gregory. Rosie: Janet Leigh. Chunjin: Henry Silva. Jocie: Leslie Parrish. Jordan: John McGiver. Yen Lo: Khigh Dhiegh. Screenwriter George Axelrod adapted Richard Condon's novel.

5. many things bother me about the remake but where i think they went the |

wrongest were the brainwashing scenes, in the original they were way ahead of their time and those scenes imo are movie masterpieces.

The original is better by far. But, the remake isn't that horrible. It's a good movie, but the original is excellent.
