The politics of obstruction |
|
The 110th session of Congress will go down in history as a do-nothing Congress. It will also go down in history as a Congress that has held multiple hearings on a corrupt White House. In every failed/vetoed Congressional item...history should footnote that the Republicans of the 109th session of Congress obstructed justice and fairness at every level. The 109th Congress ENABLED a rogue administration to run roughshod on the American people. The 109th Congress ENABLED a rogue administration to continue an illegal war of aggression without the slightest hint of oversight. The 109th Congress ENABLED a rogue administration to deplete our national treasure. The 109th Congress ENABLED a rogue administration to LIE to the American people in order to steal away our basic rights of citizenship. The 109th Congress ENABLED a rogue administration to further stack the SCOTUS against the laws of the American people.
I'll give you that this Congress isn't accomplishing MUCH in the way of the agenda they would like....but compared to the 109th Congress...THAT is an improvement.

4. I agree with the premise BUT |
|
anything the Democrats can actually get through Congress is being vetoed in the White House. The talking point NEEDS to be that the Republicans are OBSTRUCTIONISTS.

our evening Democrat bashing thread.
