Shame on the Congressional Black Caucus Institute
Edited on Sat Jun-02-07 03:03 PM by trumad
FOX News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes added, “FOX News is proud to work
with the CBC Institute in 2007 as we did in 2003 to present these two key debates
which will provide a special forum for the candidates to present their ideas and allow
voters to make informed decisions.”

Congresswoman Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick (D-MI), chairwoman of the
Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) said, “I am pleased that FOX News will broadcast
two CBC Institute debates and especially honored that the Institute will host a debate in
Detroit.”

AND shame on Mike Gravel, Joe Biden and Dennis Kucinich for selling their souls for a little face time on Americas propaganda channel.

4. Biden = foot in the mouth disease.
I think the brain tumor he had a while back clearly effects him.

7. Didn't Kucinich say pretty much the same thing?
Kucinich said: "... for Sens. Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, and Barack Obama to skip the debate simply because it was to be broadcast on Fox was a snub of the Congressional Black Caucus." He added: "Those candidates planning to skip this debate clearly are trying to avoid a forum where there will be hard-hitting questions from people who may not agree with them."

9. This is the ONE thing Kucinich is WRONG about
it isn't just hard questions that would be fine. Its a set up, they lead the sheeple to slaughter and no Democrat that I have seen is capable of screaming and yelling loud enough to actually get any point across.
They will be made fools of and that is what they deserve for being so ignorant.

Faux Noise needs to be destroyed and giving these fascist any credence must stop. EVERY democrat that is asked to come on Faux noise should simply ignore them, when confronted face to face somewhere either ignore them completely of they can grow a ball tell them to &^%k Off. Faux Noise needs to be marginalized & ostracized.

11. Shame on Kucinich too! The other candidates aren't trying to avoid tough questions.
What they're doing is not giving a WH propaganda network fodder to trash them. Nothing wrong with that. NO Democrat should ever appear on that network.

2. How can they possibly rationalize this during primary elections?
The voters candidates want to appeal to before primary elections are their base. Democratic base = Fox viewers??????? What am I not getting here?

5. Big fucking deal!
Who the fuck cares.

If you are serious about being president, then you should be serious about dealing with, operating with, and communicating with people and organizations you don't think highly of. What ever Fox News has done and will do won't measure up to what occurs at the hands of many foreign governments and even our own, yet it's outrageous to suggest the next US president won't interact with other governments, or the US government.

If the Dems are going to get more TV time, I say great.

6. CBC should be the last people to be throwing a wrench into the Democratic
goals on this one. Why support faux news? Dems are trying to rebrand it as the illegitimate television network that it is.

The good news on this is the longer the debate continues..the longer the publicity..the more the word will get out there that Faux News is not a real news network.

So I say..keep complaining. It will only serve the Democratic cause. The more publicity the better.

8. CBC
should hook up with somebody besides Faux. Somebody that might be capable of providing a fair and balanced forum for an honest debate.

13. You know, I'm going to trust the CBC on this one. They've been
ahead of the curve so many times this past few years. Way ahead of the rest of Congress. There are some really seasoned civil rights workers in that bunch and they know how to fight. Pelosi and Reid need to take some lessons from them.
